Employee Communications Director

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; on-site presence at headquarters required three days a week or more. Candidates must be able to work at or commute to the site. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: $160,500–$281,250 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Create and execute an employee communications strategy aligned with the Enterprise Communications strategy.
• Lead a three-person team and collaborate with Enterprise Communications and cross-functional partners.
• Oversee communications for 18,000 employees across multiple channels and platforms.
• Guide executive storytelling, campaigns, and content supporting global company initiatives.
• Manage the internal communications editorial calendar and coordinate content with global communicators.
• Track and measure campaign performance, advising the Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Leadership Team on communications strategy and tactics.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of internal communications experience.
• Proven experience developing and executing global internal communications strategies and programs at scale.
• Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, including familiarity with Associated Press style.
• Previous people management experience and the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.
• Degree in communications, journalism, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, and strategic intranet content management.
