TL;DR
Director, Global Communications & Public Affairs – Electrophysiology (MedTech): Developing and implementing strategic communications programs for a global electrophysiology business with an accent on executive visibility, employee engagement, organizational transformation, and supply chain communications. Focus on translating business priorities into compelling narratives, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, measuring communication impact, and leading a small team and external agency partners.

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Irvine, California office, United States; up to 25% domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $150,000–$258,750 base pay range per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement global communications and public affairs strategies for the Electrophysiology business.
  • Translate business priorities into executive communications, thought leadership, narratives, and stakeholder activations.
  • Lead employee engagement and organizational communications covering performance, culture, leadership transitions, and transformation.
  • Lead communications for the Electrophysiology Global Supply Chain, including manufacturing investments, operational initiatives, and business continuity.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and refine content, channels, and engagement approaches.
  • Lead a small team and manage agency and external communications partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in communications, public affairs, corporate communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience developing executive communications and thought leadership programs for senior leaders.
  • Experience leading employee engagement, organizational communications, and change communications initiatives.
  • Strong critical thinking, business insight, project management, partner management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a complex, global organization.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain organizations.
  • Experience managing agencies and external communications partners.
  • Experience leading communications during organizational transformation and change.
  • Global communications experience across multiple geographies and cultures.
