Architect III - Enterprise Architect (Banking)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Define and lead architectural priorities for a specific enterprise domain, including Specialty Deposits platforms and capabilities.
• Develop architecture standards, reference architectures, patterns, strategies, roadmaps, and solution designs.
• Participate in Architecture Standards Board and Technology Review Board governance forums, managing the domain business capability inventory.
• Evaluate software products, services, configurations, and emerging technologies through proofs of concept and pilot initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, product managers, product owners, engineering teams, and Scrum teams to deliver secure, compliant, reliable, and scalable solutions.
• Identify technology deficiencies and architectural debt while supporting Agile, DevOps, and FinOps delivery models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience, preferably in enterprise architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced experience developing reference architectures and patterns across application development, cloud compute, storage, networking, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers, automation, and security.
• Advanced knowledge of product management, Agile principles, development methodologies, and guidance for Agile and DevOps teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, written communication, verbal communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of financial services or banking and applicable regulatory, legal, and industry obligations is preferred.
