Licensed Customer Service and Sales Rep (Insurance)

Location: 10991 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223, inside Walmart. The role works in an office environment Monday–Friday from 8:30am–5:30pm, with rotating Saturdays from 9am–1pm and occasional holidays or community events.

Starting pay: $23.00–$25.50 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Respond to customer insurance inquiries, explain coverage and product features, and resolve complaints with management support when needed.
• Service insurance policies and process applications, renewals, amendments, endorsements, transfers, billing changes, and reinstatements.
• Prepare rate quotations, apply underwriting rules and eligible discounts, complete sales, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Process insurance and membership payments and conduct retention, delinquency, reinstatement, cancellation, and promotional calls.
• Refer customers to agents for insurance, membership, financial, credit card, travel, and life products when appropriate.
• Support office events, member education, revenue generation, recordkeeping, and general agency operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
• Ability to qualify for, obtain, and maintain all required state licenses and appointments.
• Ability to explain complex insurance information clearly, perform monetary calculations, and maintain accurate records.
• Working knowledge of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, sales compliance guidelines, and systems such as PPS, POS, IMS, and IPM.
• Successful completion of customer service, insurance, and membership training within six months of hire.
