  • Manage engineering resource utilization and, where applicable, supervise staff, performance reviews, coaching, and professional development.
  • Maintain design documentation, facilitate internal and external design reviews, and control product configuration data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Typically 7 years of engineering experience; graduate degrees generally count as more than 2 years of experience.
  • Experience using 1D flow solvers for heat/energy and mass balance, such as RELAP, Flownex, NPSS, SINDA/FLUINT, ASPEN Plus, Flomaster, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams and follow design control procedures.
  • Understanding of engineering analysis, technical specifications, design requirements, and documentation practices.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of thermal-hydraulic or thermodynamic systems analysis experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Supervisory experience, including performance reviews, career development, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with plant-level steady-state and transient analysis of primary and secondary systems.
  • Deep knowledge of single- and two-phase flow, heat transfer, and plant dynamics.

Culture & Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and disability insurance.
