Location: Santa Clara, California, or remote within the United States. Remote employees must travel to the Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter based on business or team needs, and must work onsite there for the first two weeks of onboarding. Only applicants meeting the definition of a U.S. person under applicable export control laws may be eligible.
Salary: $225,000–$275,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead development engineering across active Aurora powerhouse sites, including site layouts, civil and grading design, geotechnical investigations, hydrology, and infrastructure planning.
- Produce basis-of-design packages for project finance due diligence, EPC handoff, state and local approvals, and NRC licensing.
- Own site constraints packages, engineering schedules, stage-gate risk reviews, and technical analysis of site risks and fatal flaws.
- Coordinate civil, geotechnical, environmental, nuclear, transmission, interconnection, project development, and permitting activities.
- Manage third-party engineering consultants and quality-control their deliverables against project requirements and schedules.
- Build and lead an engineering team supporting Aurora powerhouses, isotope production facilities, and Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in energy, infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, or data center project development engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
- Strong civil and site engineering background; nuclear project experience is highly valued.
- Experience producing engineering deliverables for project financing and EPC handoff.
- Experience with DOE- or NRC-regulated facilities is a significant advantage.
- PE license strongly preferred; excellent written and verbal technical communication skills required.

- Nuclear project development and advanced fission experience.
- Experience with solutions engineering for co-located manufacturing or data center facilities.
