Finance Project Manager

Salary: $128,000–$135,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects involving process improvement, regulatory and compliance rollouts, organizational restructuring, and technology upgrades.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Manage initiatives through requirements gathering, planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and post-implementation review.
• Map business workflows and implement improvements that increase productivity, reduce friction, and strengthen controls.
• Drive financial compliance initiatives, audit readiness, joint ventures, and post-merger integrations.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, IT, Operations, and executive leadership while leading communications, training, handoffs, and status reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cross-functional project management experience in finance, accounting, or business operations.
• Experience delivering process redesign, compliance, operational restructuring, and vendor or contract migration projects.
• Understanding of financial workflows, accounting cycles, GAAP/IFRS, SOX, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or hybrid project management frameworks.
• Experience with Monday, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, or Lucidchart.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or CSM certification.
