CAD & PLM Administration Intern (Siemens NX)

What you will do

• Organise and maintain structured CAD and PLM data, standard part libraries, templates, drafting standards, and engineering environment settings.
• Support Siemens NX administration, including customer defaults, role-based settings, templates, configuration, and environment management.
• Assist with testing and documenting CAD and PLM process, configuration, and system changes.
• Identify improvements to CAD workflows, data quality, content reuse, and user experience with engineers and designers.
• Provide first-level support for engineering users and assist with routine CAD and PLM administration and monitoring.
• Create user guides, process descriptions, FAQs, guidelines, and training materials.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good communication skills in English required.
• Basic experience with Siemens NX and a strong interest in CAD, engineering data management, PLM, or technical systems administration.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working with structured technical information.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PLM concepts or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience with C# and .NET or PowerShell.
• Understanding of engineering drawing standards, part numbering, metadata, or configuration management.
• Exposure to Linux, IT infrastructure, databases, or technical support processes.
• Interest in aerospace, spacecraft, or other complex technical environments.
