FEM Simulation Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Assess the strength, stiffness, and service life of robot structures using FEM simulations.
• Perform static and dynamic analyses, including strength, stiffness, and modal analysis.
• Conduct fatigue life and durability assessments.
• Define load cases based on system requirements.
• Work with design on topology and weight optimization.
• Validate simulation models against test results and clearly present findings.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on structural analysis or mechanics.
• Experience with FEM simulation using tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, or OptiStruct.
• Knowledge of durability and material behavior.
• Analytical thinking and clear presentation of results.

Nice to have

• Experience with optimization tools.
