Nutritional Services Specialist (Animal Nutrition)

What you will do

• Formulate premixes for four NAA ANH blend plants, including modifications to existing formulations.
• Develop premix labels to support production requirements.
• Maintain compliance with AAFCO and CFIA Feed regulations.
• Develop ingredient specifications and approve ingredient sources through SQM Trackwise.
• Maintain ingredient risk assessments, approved product lists, and incoming ingredient checklists.
• Develop and maintain NIR testing programs for raw materials and customer premixes.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree specializing in Animal Nutrition.
• Required experience in the feed industry, preferably in ingredient quality.
• Knowledge of feed formulation, feed ingredients, micronutrients, chemical components, and complete feed requirements for all species.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop practical premix formulations using SAP.
• Knowledge of AAFCO and CFIA Feed regulations and their application to premix use and labeling.
• Strong computer and statistical skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel.
