What you will do
- Conduct responsible sourcing assessments and social compliance audits against local laws and recognized assessment standards.
- Lead opening meetings, management interviews, facility walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and worker interviews.
- Triangulate information from multiple sources to evaluate workplace practices and reach informed conclusions.
- Present audit results and advise clients on opportunities to improve working conditions.
- Prepare accurate assessment reports in English and provide timely clarifications to clients, facilities, vendors, and colleagues.
- Meet targets for report turnaround time, report quality, and budget performance.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Law, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least three years of social compliance auditing experience and 100 verifiable social compliance audit days.
- APSCA registration with CSCA status and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent written and verbal English and French are required.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Strong business acumen, customer service, problem-solving, negotiation, reporting, analysis, cultural awareness, integrity, and confidentiality skills.
Nice to have
- Spanish language skills.
- RBA, BSCI, or SLCP certification.
- Advanced degree.
