Lead Assessor (Responsible Sourcing)

What you will do

• Conduct social compliance audits including facility walkthroughs and management interviews.
• Interview workers in a sensitive and impartial manner to verify facility practices.
• Triangulate data from multiple sources to reach informed conclusions on compliance.
• Present audit results to facility management and advise on improvement plans.
• Write comprehensive, accurate, and timely assessment reports in English.
• Meet key performance targets regarding report quality, turnaround time, and budget.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Minimum 3 years of experience in social compliance auditing
• Minimum 100 verifiable social compliance audit days
• APSCA registered with CSCA status required
• Excellent verbal and written English and French proficiency
• Ability to travel 80% of the time

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Law, HR, or Occupational Health and Safety
• Spanish language proficiency
• RBA, BSCI, or SLCP certification
