Director, Customer Implementation (AI)

Location: New York City, USA; hybrid

Salary: $200K–$220K base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program delivery and long-term account success for enterprise electric utility customers.
• Lead, coach, and allocate resources for a team of 4–5 Customer Value Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Advise utility executives on ROI frameworks, digital twin workflows, software adoption, and operational value.
• Oversee technical workstreams including data integration, custom scripting, and platform configuration.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to share customer insights, reduce implementation risks, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Establish project governance and communication cadences with executives, sponsors, and steering committees.

Requirements

• Experience as a Director or Head of Implementation, Delivery, Professional Services, or as a project leader or manager in top-tier management or technology consulting.
• Track record leading multi-year, large-scale enterprise software deployments and digital transformation initiatives.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Practical technical experience with Python, SQL, data pipelines, or software integration frameworks.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing technical individual contributors in customer-facing environments.
• Exceptional communication, consensus-building, and executive stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with electric utilities, energy companies, or large-scale physical infrastructure assets.
