Sr. Manager, Technical Delivery (AI)

Location: United States, Illinois, Chicago; customer travel and on-site work may be required up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $177,000–$232,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and mentor Solutions Architects and Consultants delivering Snowflake implementations, optimizations, and migrations.
• Oversee complex migrations from legacy databases and platforms to Snowflake.
• Provide technical and delivery quality oversight for customer engagements.
• Guide the design, implementation, and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions on Snowflake.
• Lead project scoping, code assessments, service pricing, statements of work, and strategic guidance for sales pursuits.
• Develop delivery methodologies and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, partners, and customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales technical experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including mentoring, coaching, and team development.
• 5+ years of professional services sales experience, including large-project scoping and statement-of-work creation.
• Experience guiding enterprise customers in building, deploying, and operationalizing Generative AI engagements.
• Extensive experience with large-scale database technologies, non-relational data-processing platforms, data integration tools, and BI or data exploration tools.
• Strong knowledge of databases, data warehouses, data processing, SQL analytics, scripting with Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash, and the complete data analytics stack.

Nice to have

• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience selling data or analytics software to enterprise customers.
• Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences through whiteboards, presentations, and demos.
