Senior Financial Analyst (Connected Products)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States — hybrid, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $80,000–$124,000 USD annual base salary, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and improve forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial management processes for the Connected Products business.
• Create scalable analytical tools and reporting frameworks to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Partner with business, product, commercial, engineering, operations, and finance leaders on strategic decisions.
• Support monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, long-range planning, and analysis of financial and operational results.
• Prepare financial models, scenario plans, business cases, and executive reporting for product investments and growth initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and continuously improve finance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and balance immediate deadlines with long-term projects.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and establishing new processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Deerfield, Illinois arrangement.

• Experience with connected products, technology, software-enabled products, SaaS, consumer technology, or innovation-driven businesses.
• Experience in a high-growth, transformational, or startup-like environment.
• Exposure to new product development, commercial finance, or product investment analysis.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Oracle, or financial planning tools.
