Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in Ireland

Salary: From €75,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Design and build applications using Golang.
• Support component design, development, maintenance, and technical quality across project teams.
• Define structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
• Design data storage solutions and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Analyze client requirements, gather user and client feedback, and build solutions based on their needs.
• Collaborate with client teams and Technical Leaders to execute projects and deliver them on time.

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering experience, typically at least six years of commercial experience.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with Golang and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git, databases, cloud environments, automation, CI, and CD.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience building software collaboratively through pull requests and code reviews.
• Professional proficiency in English and eligibility to work from Ireland.
