What you will do

• Develop and implement policies and practices to identify and mitigate hazardous workplace conditions.
• Identify hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions.
• Investigate accidents and collaborate with engineers, management, and health and safety authorities to prevent recurrence.
• Provide safety advice and training, and conduct audits for organizational and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and analyze records of workplace injuries, illnesses, and absences for internal improvement and regulatory reporting.
• Lead projects and processes, support automation and continuous improvement, and coach lower-level professionals.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; alternatively, 3 years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 is required at the start of employment.
• Temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.
