Order Management Specialist

Location: On-site in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States

Annual salary: $55,000–$57,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Act as a customer contact through email and phone, identify needs, and determine appropriate actions.
• Process purchase orders and review proposals, sales agreements, and customer data.
• Respond to and research customer inquiries and complaints related to shipments, billing, products, and services.
• Investigate atypical or infrequent issues and provide accurate solutions.
• Prepare customer-related reports for management, sales, and customers.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related work experience, including accurate data entry.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to follow procedures, interpret customer inquiries, solve problems, and manage priorities under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
• Experience with Salesforce and MS Office.
