Consultant Governance / Risk Transformation

What you will do

• Conduct current-state, gap, and maturity assessments across governance, roles and responsibilities, RTO maturity, and the NFR Learning Loop.
• Gather and analyse information from business, risk management, and other stakeholders.
• Define target-state governance, RACI/RASCI frameworks, and collaboration models across the three lines of defence.
• Review internal requirements, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices, translating findings into recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Prepare data-driven documentation and presentations, and facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops.
• Support communication, training, change, implementation, and the embedding of new ways of working into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and structuring skills, including the ability to synthesise complex information into evidence-based conclusions.
• Experience with assessments, gap analyses, or maturity assessments.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Master’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, banking, or another complex regulated environment.
• Experience with governance, risk management, regulatory change, audit, operating models, or organisational change.
• Experience with EBA, ECB, DNB, or similar regulatory environments.
• Direct non-financial risk experience.
