Operations Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Forsyth, GA 31029, United States; must be relocatable and flexible to work across multiple shifts.

What you will do

• Lead budgetary, people development, safety, quality, performance, and customer experience activities for outbound shipping.
• Manage supervisors and team leads, coach employees, and build leadership bench strength.
• Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold operations leaders accountable for departmental results.
• Develop and execute quality, process-change, continuous-improvement, and lean initiatives.
• Manage the staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, facilities, safety, IT, and other operations managers to secure project resources and share best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, industrial engineering, operations engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment center.
• Ability to relocate.
• Flexibility to work across multiple shifts based on business needs.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Lean and continuous-improvement experience, including leading projects through completion.
• Experience in a large warehouse.
