Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Senior Manager (Pharmaceutical Fulfillment)

Location: London, England; on-site

Salary: £90K–£110K for US-based candidates; location-specific ranges are provided by the recruiter for candidates outside the US.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain the WHS Management System for the fulfillment center.
• Develop the site safety culture, engagement programs, quarterly initiatives, and monthly safety metrics.
• Lead risk assessments, COSHH assessments, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, respiratory fit testing, and medical evaluations.
• Partner with site leadership, project managers, facilities, legal, and the General Manager on safety, incident reporting, audits, and project compliance.
• Manage regulatory compliance, regulated waste, contract security, workers’ compensation, and responses to UK regulatory agencies.
• Ensure workplace safety and health practices are incorporated into equipment, process, construction, installation, and remediation projects.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in safety or a related field.
• 12+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years leading WHS for large fulfillment centers.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience working with British Pharmacopoeia reference standards.
• Experience implementing safety programs in a laboratory or compounding environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Slides, and strong oral and written communication skills.
