EHS Administrator (Environmental Health & Safety)

What you will do

• Provide administrative and coordination support for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, maintaining documentation, manuals, permits, and compliance records.
• Support EHS training, compliance, and risk management processes, including action trackers, the compliance calendar, the EHS inbox, and SDS and COSHH systems.
• Coordinate monthly occupational health clinics with external providers and support visiting nurses during clinic days.
• Maintain the health and safety compliance portal, track concerns and corrective actions, and update EHS metrics and dashboards.
• Monitor essential safety equipment and supplies, including First Aid, AED, and DSE resources, and develop inspection and emergency response templates.

Requirements

• Administrative experience with compliance systems and portals.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
• Effective communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently while managing multiple systems and data sources accurately.
• Strong organisation, planning, collaboration, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in the life sciences sector and familiarity with laboratory environments.
• Previous health and safety experience or willingness to learn.
