Finance Operations Transformation Manager (SaaS)

What you will do

• Analyze current-state finance processes, workflows, operations, and governance, then design future-state operating models.
• Define business requirements and project-manage workflow, automation, analytics, and AI implementations.
• Lead the Build > Operate > Transfer cycle, including hands-on setup and operation of new processes before transition to the responsible team.
• Own operations for platform overages by analyzing usage data, contractual terms, costs, margins, and customer-specific causes.
• Partner with Sales on waiver decisions, invoicing, upsells, remediation, negotiations, and revenue protection.
• Develop scalable policies, metrics, process documentation, cost-saving initiatives, and Finance support for future packaging changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with usage-based billing concepts, including overages and maintenance fees, ideally in a SaaS or subscription business.
• Strong understanding of contractual terms and the ability to translate usage data into waiver or upsell recommendations.
• Experience building or scaling operational frameworks and metrics from the ground up.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, change-management, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Familiarity with financial software, ERP systems, packaging, monetization, and usage policies.
