People Partner

Location: Edinburgh, hybrid with a minimum of 60% office attendance over a 12-week period. A 28-day work-from-abroad policy is available.

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with Customer Services and Operations, Fraud and Payments, and Corporate Affairs to shape commercially grounded people priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with frontline managers, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coach managers through performance management, absence, restructures, and other key people processes.
• Own employee relations cases end to end, including disciplinary and grievance investigations, performance improvement plans, redundancies, restructures, and complex absence cases.
• Lead people projects from scoping through delivery and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Represent the People team in leadership conversations, using data and insight to influence decisions.

Requirements

• Substantial independent experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Experience coaching managers at all levels, particularly new people managers.
• Commercial judgement and the ability to balance legal compliance with practical business and people outcomes.
• Experience delivering people initiatives, managing workload autonomously, and achieving measurable results.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across levels and functions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

Nice to have

• CIPD Level 5 or above, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in tech, e-commerce, or a similarly dynamic sector.
• Exposure to organisational design or operational teams such as Customer Services.
