What you will do

• Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize LLMs using proprietary healthcare and life sciences datasets.
• Build data pipelines for dataset curation, preprocessing, augmentation, and model benchmarking.
• Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models through scalable distributed training and inference environments.
• Build LLM-powered applications, AI assistants, and agentic workflows combining LLMs, retrieval systems, and external tools.
• Integrate AI models into hirify.global platforms and business workflows in collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging Generative AI technologies and support research and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills and experience with machine learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating, or building applications with LLMs.
• Knowledge of transformer architectures and frameworks such as Hugging Face.
• Experience with large datasets, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and distributed training.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, backend software development, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Expertise in deep learning, NLP, model evaluation, benchmarking, data preparation, and agentic AI concepts including tool use, workflow orchestration, and function calling.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source LLMs such as Qwen, Llama, or Mistral.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding models, and LLMOps tools.
• Experience with healthcare or life sciences data and regulated environments.
• Knowledge of RLHF, model alignment, and AI safety techniques.
• Experience with agentic AI systems, AI assistants, multi-step reasoning workflows, or frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.
