Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, Poland

Salary: PLN 350,100–457,075 per year, plus potential benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-powered solutions with Rovo for customer use cases.
• Build enterprise application integrations using Python, JavaScript, APIs, microservices, and related technologies.
• Work directly with customers and cross-functional product, engineering, and design teams to shape product direction and solve complex problems.
• Lead end-to-end production deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Drive AI-augmented workflow automation to improve customer business value and operational efficiency.
• Mentor senior engineers and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software development experience.
• 5+ years of delivering impactful AI/ML solutions in production, including founding or forward-deployed engineering experience in 0-to-1 product development.
• Deep expertise in applied AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, with experience in APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.
• Experience solving ambiguous problems, influencing cross-functional teams, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
• Experience with AI risk assessment, data privacy, and compliance, including GDPR.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Intelligence, Rovo AI, or other AI-powered hirify.global features.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
• Experience deploying AI solutions to complex production systems at scale.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
