Associate Director, Data Context Enablement (AI)

Base pay range: $137,000–$235,750 USD annually

What you will do

• Define and scale the enterprise AI Context Layer strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and operating model.
• Build reusable context products, semantic models, knowledge assets, and standards for Generative AI, agentic workflows, analytics, CRM, forecasting, and decision support.
• Align data context services with enterprise data architecture, metadata, quality, lifecycle, and governance standards.
• Establish quality measures, lifecycle controls, and responsible AI processes to manage semantic drift, outdated knowledge, and inconsistent definitions.
• Partner with business, platform, product, technology, and vendor teams to identify high-value use cases and coordinate delivery.
• Track adoption, ROI, reuse, explainability, delivery speed, and business value while communicating progress and risks to senior leaders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data management, AI, analytics, semantic technologies, knowledge management, data platforms, enterprise architecture, or related areas.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Analytics, Health Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms, semantic layers, data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data lifecycle management.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, semantic modeling, AI governance, ontology management, knowledge graphs, vector databases, and graph technologies.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional data, analytics, platform, or AI initiatives and managing executive stakeholders, business alignment, and change.
• Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, information security, responsible AI, healthcare and life sciences data ecosystems, Customer 360 solutions, and regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences domains.
