Regional Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Location: Maitland, Florida, United States; Monday–Thursday onsite with colleagues, with flexible work location on Fridays. Approximately 65% of the role involves jobsites and rotating through regional offices.

Annual base salary: $60,000–$109,340; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Coordinate environmental health and safety processes across commercial sales and service offices.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits, and jobsite visits with technicians at customer service and contracting sites.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT, state, local, and other applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Deliver new-hire, annual, high-risk, and PPE-related safety training and maintain training, inspection, and qualified-person databases.
• Investigate injuries, near misses, incidents, and accidents; coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead safety committees, support workers’ compensation and return-to-work administration, evaluate contractors, and use EHS platforms including Benchmark|Gensuite, XOi, and ProCore.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or Safety Sciences/Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-to-large site preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT, and regionally applicable health and safety regulations.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, provincial, local, environmental, and safety standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, computer, and EHS data management skills, including Microsoft Office and Gensuite.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, safe driving record, and ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, and operate across offices, construction sites, rooftops, warehouses, and manufacturing plants.

• Professional safety certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHSM.
