Senior Quality Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: United Kingdom; full-time onsite work in a manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Maintain the Quality Management System and support continuous improvement programs to ensure product conformity.
• Create and submit customer documentation packages, including first article inspections, PPAP, certifications, customer forms, and physical property reports.
• Conduct internal audits and support customer and third-party audits, including corrective-action follow-up.
• Use SAP, QDS, MES, Gage Pack, and related electronic systems to manage quality data, documentation, and records.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and quality clauses; identify inspection characteristics and support product issue tracking.
• Lead calibration activities, troubleshoot out-of-tolerance events, and provide training on quality requirements and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality procedures, inspection techniques, manufacturing specifications, and technical drawings.
• Experience with ISO/AS Quality Management Systems and Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, make data-driven decisions independently, coach colleagues, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification such as CQI, CQT, CQA, or similar.
• Experience with GD&T, CMM programming, optical equipment programming, or NDT.
• Knowledge and use of standard measuring devices.
