Manufacturing Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Site-based at the Manufacturing and Distribution Centre in South Marston Business Estate, Swindon, UK. Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00, 40 hours per week.

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead the Custom Club, Logo and Embroidery production departments as part of the Site Leadership Team.
• Coach and develop production managers and their teams to deliver strong operational performance.
• Drive manufacturing results across safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
• Plan labour and production capacity to meet customer demand and business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven manufacturing or production experience, including 3–5 years in a management role.
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in labour planning, performance management and cost control.
• Experience driving operational performance, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP or manufacturing system.
• Collaborative leadership style, strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and sound decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• IOSH, NEBOSH or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience.
