Consultant, Primary Market Research (Life Sciences)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $96,000–$144,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Draft discussion guides, screening criteria, surveys, stimuli, and other primary market research materials.
• Coordinate with programming and fielding partners to launch surveys and conduct interviews.
• Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative primary market research data.
• Develop visual PowerPoint presentations that communicate findings and implications.
• Translate research results into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Support proposal development and mentor Associate Consultants and new hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in market research, engineering, pharmacy, medicine, health sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in primary market research, consulting, or a relevant life sciences role.
• Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and logical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity with secondary datasets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s or doctoral training in a STEM field.
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Ability to run and interpret statistical analysis.
• Demonstrated interest in the life sciences industry.
