Competitive Intelligence Consultant, Strategy/Life Sciences

Location: Wayne, Pennsylvania, United States; international travel approximately 30% of the time

Annual base pay: $89,300–$222,500, with potential additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits

What you will do

• Identify strategic alternatives and project approaches for pharmaceutical and healthcare client questions.
• Conduct primary and secondary research, desk research, expert interviews, and conference-based intelligence gathering.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of scientific, clinical, and commercial information.
• Create reports, presentations, workshops, proposals, and other client deliverables.
• Communicate findings and recommendations while working directly with clients.
• Manage day-to-day project delivery and contribute to staff development, learning, and recruiting programs.

Requirements

• PhD or PharmD required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, specifically in oncology.
• Strong analytical, interpretative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience conducting interviews, presentations, meetings, workshops, and report writing.
• Ability to engage with clinical and commercial industry sources in person and by phone.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical and healthcare industry developments.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Some project management experience.
• Prior experience or strong interest in healthcare and life sciences.
