Regional Director of Facilities

Location: Fully remote; regular travel across the assigned region is required.

What you will do

• Lead facilities operations across a regional portfolio and align execution with operational priorities.
• Drive preventive maintenance compliance, annual facilities assessments, corrective actions, and turn readiness across properties.
• Coordinate staffing coverage, RFOS assignments, travel planning, and operational readiness for new community openings.
• Manage capital expenditure planning, annual projects, large or non-recurring projects, risk mitigation, scheduling, and quality closeout.
• Monitor portfolio KPIs, financial performance, budget variances, and action plans for continuous improvement.
• Recruit, supervise, coach, train, and develop facilities team members while partnering with Operations, HR, Asset Management, and Capital Projects.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of facilities operations experience, including multi-site leadership and field-team management.
• Successful experience with preventive maintenance compliance, turn outcomes, and portfolio-level budget and CapEx performance.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI dashboards and financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, translate findings into action plans, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, HR, Asset Management, and Capital Projects, including field communications and change management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facilities systems; familiarity with an LMS and Interplay or similar platforms.
