Senior Programmer (IBM iSeries-RPG IV)

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annual

What you will do

• Analyze and resolve technical issues across IBM iSeries systems and applications.
• Design solutions for existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• Maintain and improve the ongoing operation of the IBM iSeries platform.
• Evaluate system effectiveness and develop strategies to improve business processes.
• Design and implement manual and automated procedures for business opportunities.
• Lead projects from definition through implementation while managing resources and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience on iSeries.
• Strong proficiency in RPG ILE, RPG, CL, Query, DBU, SQL, and DDS.
• Strong communication, teamwork, independent motivation, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with the WebSmart development tool.
