Senior RPG Developer (IBM i)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, and IBM i technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project planning, design, and execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance, system configuration documentation, process documentation, and service records.

Requirements

• Strong experience with RPGLE, RPG400, RPG IV, and Free RPG development.
• Experience with full software lifecycle delivery, complex solution design, software change management, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong analytical, investigative, technical design, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience delivering business and IT programmes in an agile framework.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aldon software change management, iSeries Journaling, ProfoundUI, X-Analysis or similar modernization tooling, and JIRA.
