Location: Waukegan, Illinois, United States; office-based

Salary: $10.00–$11.54 per hour non-recoverable draw, reconciled against earned incentive compensation; eligible for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage loan business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Support customers from loan approval through closing and coordinate with loan origination sources.
• Secure and verify information required for underwriting and assist customers with loan applications.
• Maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• NMLS license.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, multitasking, and PC and internet skills.
