Junior Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Taichung, Taiwan (On-site at customer location)

What you will do

• Perform standard assembly, repairs, and system qualification tests (SQ/SAT) following documented procedures.
• Support senior engineers during machine adjustment, qualification, and mechanical integration tasks.
• Manage materials, tools, and parts, including preparation, staging, and reporting of damaged items.
• Provide verbal updates to customers regarding system progress and act as an hirify.global ambassador.
• Document technical reports, work orders, and problem handovers to ensure smooth escalation processes.
• Maintain cleanroom safety and security protocols for all equipment and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• English proficiency required for verbal and written communication.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
• Possession of relevant technical licenses (e.g., ) is preferred.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, and travel up to 25% of the time.
