Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; office-based 4 days per week and remote 1 day per week

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Collections Specialists supporting the EMEA customer portfolio.
- Oversee accounts receivable ageing reviews, collection activities, and escalations for high-risk and delinquent accounts.
- Conduct credit reviews, recommend credit limits and payment terms, and manage risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor DSO, overdue balances, bad debt exposure, unapplied cash, and receivables cash forecasts.
- Own SOX controls across the order-to-cash cycle and support internal and external audits.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders on complex customer issues, process improvements, system enhancements, acquisitions, migrations, and transition projects.
Requirements
- Proven B2B credit and collections experience with leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, credit risk assessment, cash forecasting, and collection strategies.
- Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment and supporting audit activities.
- Ability to analyse financial statements, credit reports, and customer payment behaviour.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, ideally Oracle EBS or similar.
