Financial Accountant (Chemicals)

What you will do

• Perform monthly financial accounting for EFC EMEA entities and support timely, accurate period-end reporting.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis for monthly financial reports.
• Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations and process journal entries.
• Work with FP&A, in-country finance, operations, and HR teams to ensure accurate transaction reporting.
• Support year-end statutory and tax compliance, internal and external audits, and SOX compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for supporting other members of the GL team, with ambition and a proactive attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• European language skills.
