What you will do

• Review tender documents, project scopes, applicable standards, and required deliverables.
• Prepare bills of materials, conceptual designs, project estimations, and detailed cost estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to obtain current material and subcontract quotations.
• Develop bid price breakdowns, tender return documentation, and preliminary resource forecasts.
• Lead technical and cost review meetings and maintain accurate Salesforce CRM records.
• Follow governance procedures and collaborate with internal departments to optimise bid definitions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the engineering solutions industry.
• Experience with bidding and tendering control, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical modular package projects.
• Minimum HNC in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Control and Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, or Energy Engineering.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, prioritisation, communication, commercial awareness, and deadline management.
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office, plus an ownership-oriented and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience in the UK gas, oil, petrochemical, or utility sectors.
• Knowledge of process systems, instrumentation, gas metering, analysers, modular process skids, measurement, and control.
• Cybersecurity knowledge and experience with CAD, Microsoft Project, Salesforce CRM, or AI tools.
• Full driving licence.
