Salary: £50,000–£85,000 annual basic salary, depending on experience

What you will do
- Produce project estimates, bills of materials, cost build-ups, and formal tender responses.
- Interpret client enquiries, technical drawings, M&E specifications, and scopes of supply to develop compliant conceptual designs.
- Write technical and commercial clarifications and provide technical input throughout the tender lifecycle.
- Review proposals, identify selling points, and support the Sales Team with consultant reports and engine selection.
- Prepare contract handover files for the Projects Team and update internal databases with communications and feedback.
- Obtain compliant quotations from subcontractors and supply-chain partners while aligning work with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems; power generation experience is beneficial.
- Confidence interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Commercial awareness, analytical problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in person and through digital channels.
- Full UK driving licence required.
