Multi-Skilled Engineer

What you will do

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works across mechanical, electrical, and building fabric systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective solutions.
• Complete statutory inspections, testing, and maintenance in line with legislation and engineering best practice.
• Maintain HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ventilation, LV systems, lighting, plumbing, building fabric, and BMS equipment.
• Use asset information, maintenance history, CAFM systems, and mobile technology to improve reliability and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Bureau Engineers, Technical Support teams, and specialist supply chain partners.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a recognised trade qualification.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within commercial building services.
• Experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, and basic building fabric systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Active use of AI in day-to-day work, curiosity about new technologies, and a continuous learning mindset.

Nice to have

• 18th Edition certification.
• F-Gas, IPAF, PASMA, or Water Hygiene qualifications.
• BMS awareness.
