What you will do

• Develop, design, test, document, and release electronic circuits and subsystems for home dialysis products.
• Integrate electrical designs with mechanical and consumable components.
• Improve electrical and electromechanical designs for production, reliability, regulatory compliance, and cost.
• Perform electrical engineering analysis, calculations, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Execute safety and effectiveness validation protocols and take products through regulatory testing.
• Develop low-level embedded software close to the hardware layer and communicate design plans, deliverables, and status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronic, or equivalent engineering.
• Experience developing electromechanical hardware, preferably for medical devices or other highly regulated products.
• Experience designing embedded microcontroller-based electronics, including FPGA-based, digital, and analog systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical product regulations, including IEC 60601, IEC 61010, UL, ANSI, ASTM, and EMI/EMC standards.
• Experience testing electronic devices for immunity and emissions requirements and working with regulatory bodies such as UL, TÜV, and ITT.
• Experience with PCB CAD systems such as Cadence, OrCAD, or Allegro PCB, and data acquisition software such as LabVIEW.
