Regional Quality Lead, Americas (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role requiring active weekly presence at the production facility in Zeeland, near Grand Rapids, Michigan, with local supplier travel in the US and occasional visits to Tampere, Finland.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus an annual bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Own ongoing product and production quality for the Gradus pod line during serial production.
• Drive supplier quality and development, manage component issues, execute PPAPs, and improve supplier yield.
• Own assembly output at the production partner and use field data and customer feedback to drive CAPA improvements.
• Diagnose complex assembly issues, identify their origin, and escalate findings to global teams.
• Build, maintain, and refine a localized Quality Management System aligned with global standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sourcing, Quality teams, and local production partners in the US and Finland.

Requirements

• Experience in supplier quality engineering, manufacturing quality, serial production, engineering changes, or CAPA-driven production improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical ability to inspect physical parts, perform root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Whys, and execute PPAPs for product changes.
• Excellent communication skills for motivating external partners and coordinating US and Finland operations.
• Physical presence at the Zeeland, Michigan production facility every week, local travel to US suppliers, and occasional travel to Finland are required.
