Senior Generative AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design and architect the Orion GenAI Platform for scalable and efficient generative AI product deployment.
• Accelerate the development and delivery lifecycle of GenAI products.
• Standardize technology stacks, development practices, and quality processes across projects.
• Build reusable components and tools that help application teams innovate without duplicating foundational work.
• Abstract complex technical challenges so application teams can focus on application-specific functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and integrate GenAI solutions.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including relevant experience focused on generative AI.
• Proven experience designing robust software architectures for large-scale platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing methodologies, and software delivery best practices.
• Deep knowledge of transformer architectures, embedding models, large language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI agents.
• Background in data engineering and machine learning engineering, with extensive cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Advanced Python programming and proficiency with JavaScript for web development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with parallel processing and GPU/CUDA programming.
• Master's degree in machine learning, statistics, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
