Associate Principal Scientist, Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) Assay Development

What you will do

• Develop reliable extraction, chromatographic, and mass spectrometric procedures for challenging bioanalytical methods.
• Document project work according to assay development processes and procedures.
• Communicate project progress to Assay Development leadership, Project Management, and clients.
• Present method development results at Prevalidation Committee Meetings.
• Guide Wet Lab staff and support analytical teams during method hand-off.
• Contribute to conference presentations and publications in PK/PD and biomarker analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 6–8 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 2–5 years of experience; industry experience is preferred.
• Extensive experience in Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and biologic sample preparation.
• Advanced knowledge of chemistry used in assay and method development.
• Experience with regulated bioanalysis, LBA/LCMS, proteomics sample preparation, and automation.
• Knowledge of high-resolution mass spectrometry systems, including Thermo Orbitraps, Exploris, and Excedions.
• Knowledge of triple quadrupole systems, including Sciex 6500, 6500 plus, and 7500 plus, plus clinical biomarker analysis experience.
