Focus on leading campaigns with Congress and federal agencies, building industry coalitions, and addressing complex healthcare policy challenges.
Location: Washington, DC, United States; based at Corporate Headquarters
Annual salary: $180,000–$250,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do
- Develop and execute government affairs strategies for the life sciences portfolio, aligned with corporate priorities.
- Advise executive leadership and operating company leaders on legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters.
- Lead advocacy campaigns involving Congress, the Executive Branch, and federal agencies including FDA, CMS, NIH, CDC, and HHS.
- Build strategic coalitions with trade associations, industry groups, patient advocacy organizations, and academic institutions.
- Strengthen 's thought leadership through strategic communications and public engagement.
- Travel 10–15% for policymaker meetings, industry events, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, life sciences, law, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of progressive government affairs or public policy experience, including Capitol Hill or federal agency experience.
- At least 5 years of senior leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in healthcare policy, life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical policy.
- Established network with congressional offices, federal agencies, and life sciences stakeholders.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to develop solutions to complex policy challenges.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as a master's, J.D., Ph.D., or M.P.H.
- Experience working for HHS, FDA, CMS, or NIH.
- Experience with cell and gene therapy or precision genomic medicines.
