Field Service Representative (Diagnostics)

Location: Greater Montreal area, Quebec, Canada; entirely remote with travel across Canada and occasional travel to the United States for training

Annual salary: 75,000–85,000 CAD, plus bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, maintain, and repair designated diagnostic instrumentation for assigned customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, field modifications, and instrument repairs accurately and on schedule.
• Complete work order and service documentation.
• Provide customer service in hospital laboratory environments with minimal supervision.
• Travel across Canada occasionally to support sites using the instrumentation.

Requirements

• Technical degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant customer-site equipment experience; alternatively, at least two years of experience with laboratory instruments.
• French and English bilingualism, spoken and written, is required.
• Ability to travel to the United States for training.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, or place up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, sit, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms.

Nice to have

• Previous field service experience.
• Technical service experience with hematology or laboratory automation instruments.
