Project Manager (Electrification, Automation and Digitalization)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid remote/office. Travel of up to approximately 40%, primarily within Italy, is required.

Salary: €50,000–€72,000 gross per year, including fixed and variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead assigned projects from handover from Sales through the start of the warranty phase.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and align customers, suppliers, engineers, procurement, commissioning teams, and international stakeholders.
• Own project budgets, schedules, resources, profitability, revenue forecasting, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage risks, opportunities, non-conformance costs, claims, change orders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate erection and commissioning activities, including customer-site meetings and progress reviews.
• Provide project reporting and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Project Management experience managing medium-complexity or larger projects independently.
• Experience with complex or EPC projects and customer-site commissioning is advantageous.
• Strong contract and claim management skills, including contractual risk, change, and claim management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Fluent Italian and English are required. German or Spanish is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project reporting skills; Category B driving licence required.

Nice to have

• IPMA Level C, PMP/PMI, or equivalent certification.
• Electrical background, especially knowledge of drives and DC switchboards.
• German or Spanish language skills.
• Project history attached to the CV with project scope, duration, stakeholders, and complexity details.
