Localization Project Manager (On-site)

Location: On-site in Rome, Italy

Salary: €28,000–€48,000 per year, with the possibility of a higher offer for exceptionally strong candidates.

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and deliver localization production projects within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary contact for key clients, provide project updates, address concerns, and develop long-term partnerships.
• Understand client needs and customize localization solutions to their goals.
• Improve workflows through process optimization, innovation, and adoption of new technologies.
• Monitor KPIs and use data-driven analysis to improve project performance and outcomes.
• Support colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to collaborative project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the translation industry.
• Excellent English proficiency required.
• Strong time management, organization, computer, and web skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, evaluate project performance, and optimize processes.
• Ability to manage stress, work under pressure, and handle a substantial workload.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of an additional language such as German or French.
